Keauhou Punahele#E-102 is a beautiful ground floor 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo with approximately 1200 interior sq. feet. It sits right on Keauhou Country Club golf course. Enjoy an expansive lanai that reaches from living room to the master bedroom. It's equipped with patio furniture, a private gas grill and roll down sun shades to keep the unit cool.
You'll take 1 set of stairs down to the Ground Level from the parking area and when you enter into Unit#E-102, there's a spacious living room with a plenty of seating space. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need! Granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, open layout! The owner has made extensive upgrades replacing all of the carpeting with luxury vinyl plank flooring.
The Master bedroom has it's own en-suite bathroom, walk in closet, duel vanity sinks and a large walk in shower!
The Guest bedroom hosts a set of twin beds and plantation shutters on the windows for privacy when needed. It does have it's own Guest bathroom with a walk in shower as well! The property is equipped with it's own full size washer & dryer!
You truly feel like you're in your own world in this very private and & very quiet Keauhou Punahele garden level condo. Keauhou Punahele has a tropical styled pool, spa and pavilion area! Good location in relation to amenities, large condo with great bbq, comfy beds and in unit laundry. Downside was gardeners coming onto lanai and blowing things around and up against the sliders while trying to enjoy a morning coffee. Mongoose use the lanais for a super highway, so watch that they are closed. Stairs down to unit/back up to parking could be troublesome if you have knee issues, but was fine for us. Would stay again, super easy to deal with Knutson and condo was clean, convenient with lots of room. Pool area large and easy access.

A few small things first day we were there. We had a 5 minute notice they were spraying for bugs just as we were getting ready for the day. The pool key didn’t work so we had to beg someone every time to let us in. Next time we will probably stay in a place that has more rentals then owners a few seemed put out with renters. It was clean. Would recommend a keyless entry system would have been a lot better then always looking for the keys and wondering where they were.

Condo was very clean, quiet and comfortable.Kitchen had everything needed for cooking.Pleased to find beach chairs, beach towels and boogie boards for the beach. Really enjoyed our stay.Excellent location. Kahaluu Beach for excellent snorkeling is about 5 minutes away. Condo got a little warm but you open all the doors and turn on all the fans after a long day at the beach and it really helped. Rental agency was excellent with communication. Would not hesitate to rent from them again. We love Punahele. Have stayed at these condos 4 times now - first time this unit.

From booking to check in, our vacation experience exceeded expectations. K&A provided timely booking, payment and arrival instructions. They were very professional and accommodating, on all fronts; including extended check out and the extra night stay request, due to Covid challenges. The pictures and description of the unit are exactly as described, no surprises. Location provides quick and easy access to tourist areas and main highway. The property came well-equipped with kitchen/cooking utensils, towels, beach chairs and boards and owner's guide. It was clean and welcoming. Just like home away from home. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an R&R holiday on the BI. Thank you! :)

While I liked the condo in general, there were a few things that were not mentioned on the rental signup. Since I have had surgery, I needed a knee scooter to get around. This unit was not only hard to get to, us thinking we needed one on the first floor for access, we had to walk a ways from our parking spot, then hike down a set of stairs to get to it. Neighbors above made a lot of noise with clomping and moving stuff around.
There are no Handicapped parking spots - another bummer.
There is also no mention of A/C. It’s super hot and humid at night. These units really need it for comfort. The fans do a little to help but limited.
Everything is a long way around. Pool is nice but closes at 6 pm.
The unit is nice with updated amenities. Rooms are comfy. The fit and finish of the condo seems to have a lot of things that should be working we’re not.
TV didn’t work in master with the audio cords fed from the living area.
No hot water for 3 days until I called. Kitchen and Washer dryer worked well.
I guess the stay was ok but this unit should have been gone over and explained better to the short term renter.

You decided to book the unit off of Expedia, and i understand they don't provide travelers as much detail, this is why we always recommend to book direct with property management, rather than discount sites. It's explicitly mentioned all over the rental agreement you signed that there is no ac. I'm sorry you chose to ignore that. The building is concrete, so we're surprised you could hear neighbors above you. The condo finishes work excellent. We drove to the unit and assisted you multiple times during your stay. The TV was working absolutely fine when we showed you. The hot water was user error and it works fine. We wish you all the best.

The property was very quiet, clean and comfortable. As mentioned there is no air conditioning only fans so keep that in mind. Loved the lanai in the morning and when in town we eat at Kenichi Pacific in the Keauhou Shopping Center. Golfers in my family and the Kona Country Club which is just down the road was in immaculate condition with stunning ocean views.

I enjoyed everything about this location except that it did not have AC or a fitness center (as advertised on ) Aside from those two points, I would highly recommend this location for anyone traveling with a family or elderly folks. I really enjoyed my time in Kona and will likely come back!

The condo was in very good condition. Clean, nice size rooms. Love the kitchen and bathrooms. Walk- in showers I love. I would definitely stay here again. Residents are very friendly! Beautiful pool area. Property manager responded immediately and resolved all problems quickly.

This is a nice unit in a very quiet location. We stayed for just over two weeks and had a great time. When we arrived there were a couple of very minor maintenance issues but they were cleared up after a call to Knutson & Associates. It's quite spacious for a 2-bedroom. It's about 15 minutes from Kailua-Kona but there's a good supermarket 5 minutes away. Note that there is basically no cell reception in the unit (which some may view as a plus!), though if you have a plan that allows wi-fi calling the internet service was fast and reliable. The BBQ on the lanai made it convenient and easy to cook meals. As other reviews have noted there is no air conditioning in the unit but if you use the sun shades on the lanai and the fans (ceiling and floor) in the unit it's quite comfortable. We would definitely stay again!

The condo is wonderful. So clean, so quiet, location is next to stores, restaurants, beaches, markets, shaved ice. Everything you would need including a very nice kitchen. We had breakfast every morning outside
The picture shows a ground floor condo which is part of the reason I rented. I had folks that could not use stairs.This unit is downstairs, stairs are involved. Go with a second floor unit if stairs is an issue. The unit is wonderful but not sure if I would stay there again during hot months. I stayed in 4 condo/apt/homes while on the island. The ceiling fans were so strong in 3 of them you almost needed a coat. The fans here are useless and the sun hits this unit all day. It was 4 am before it was cool enough to sleep. Just too hot in this unit. It retains the heat no matter if the doors are open or not. I was literally exhausted after staying here from being unable to sleep. Blackout curtains in the master bedroom would be nice too. The blinds that are there do not close completely. A little nerve racking. Some quality ceiling fans or air conditioning and this unit would be 100% complaint free. Everything else was wonderful.

Thank you for your positive comments on this condo. Regarding your comments on the heat, as you know a high percentage of Hawaiian condos are not air conditioned. This unit faces west, but the heat in this condo can be greatly reduced by keeping the see-through solar shades on the lanai closed during the afternoon until sunset. The owners made substantial upgrades to the unit in the past year, including a new high-end ceiling fan in the living room. Although the fans in the bedrooms still function properly, the owners plan to replace these with new ceiling fans in the near future. In the meantime, each bedroom is also equipped with a powerful pedestal fan to help keep you cool.
