We really enjoyed our stay at this rental. It was clean and as described. The location was perfect with a gated community and this rental was a very short walking distance to the pool. Knutson Management was awesome to deal with. They were quick to respond, helpful, and just overall made it such a great and easy experience for us! Thank you!!

We found the property very clean and in great proximity to the pool, hot tub, and outdoor parking spot. The property lacked coffee filters, facial tissues, general condiments (other than pepper), and sufficient utensils (only 4 forks) unless you washed or ran the dishwasher after every meal. The cooling system was pre-set and didn't seem to operate correctly.
We had two issues which we notified the property management about. The first was a light bulb that was burnt out. They said they needed to contact the owner for approval. It took 6 days to get approval for a replacement. We notified them about the microwave not spinning. After prompting they advised us the owner was aware of the issue, but chose not to address it at this time. Having dealt with other property managers in Waikoloa, I was very surprised we never received a phone call or visit from Knutson & Associates. Our only contact was via text and there was no name attached to them. If their objective was to NOT
establish a relationship with their customer, they accomplished it. I would be happy to discuss my feedback if anyone is interested. Thank you.

Thank you again for your feedback, we’d like to provide some additional clarification on a few of the items mentioned.
Regarding the light bulb, this was not initially identified as an urgent issue, as you had mentioned using a working bulb from the living room in the meantime. Once we received confirmation from the owner that there were replacement bulbs available in the locked closet, we provided those to you as soon as we were informed.
In terms of the items you felt were lacking (such as kitchen supplies and other essentials), we sincerely apologize for that experience. These concerns were not brought to our attention during your stay, and we would have gladly worked with the owner to request or provide those items had we known. We have since noted this feedback to help improve the guest experience moving forward.
We also did not receive any reports regarding concerns with the A/C during your stay. If this had been brought to our attention, we would have promptly addressed it with the owner and arranged for inspection or service as needed.
Regarding the microwave, we understand your concern. While the unit is still operable, the turntable not spinning is a known, pre-existing issue that the owner has chosen not to address at this time. We relayed this information along with guidance to rotate food as needed to ensure even heating.
We appreciate your feedback and will continue working with the owner to improve both the condition of the unit and overall guest experience. Thank you again for your stay and for sharing your thoughts.
