The condo was in excellent condition! Very clean and cozy! The decor was super cute and definitely gave you the feel of the aloha spirit. There were plenty of amenities that the owner left for us to use including kitchen items and items to use while at the beach.
The owner and manager were fantastic and were available to answer any questions we had while we were visiting. Both were very attentive the whole time.
It was in an amazing location that was super close to the ocean and in walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants!
Overall, I would recommend this condo to my friends and family and hope to make another trip back soon!

My family spent nine nights at Kona Ali’i 407 and had a great experience. It’s an excellent little unit that comfortably slept the four of us. It’s clean, well appointed, and everything is in good repair. For a small condo kitchen, we were pleasantly surprised how functional it was with good appliances and great cookware, and we cooked plenty of our meals there. The pool was a nice size and never got crowded. Having a dedicated parking spot was great. The location is awesome as long as you know where you’re booking. It’s right off of busy Ali’i Dr, so there is plenty of activity down there, but you enter the parking area from Kuakini Hwy, which makes parking easy. It’s walking distance to a bunch of great little restaurants, gelato, shave ice, and shopping. It’s a 6-10 minute drive to Target, Walmart, Longs Drugs, and three major grocery stores, the closest of which is a really nice 24-hour Safeway. Ride the elevator down and turn left, and you’re immediately catching awesome sunsets over Oneo Bay and Kailua Bay. With that great central location comes a bit more activity, so yes, a few nights a week you’ll hear busy futsal games on the courts next door. This was never an issue for us, and the noise was over by 9 or 10 pm. The location is also super centrally located for checking out all sorts of great beaches and sites along the Kona side. If you want a super comfortable home base in the middle of a great little town that’ll serve as your jumping off point for perfect day trips and epic adventures, this is a great spot. We’re excited to stay here again next year. Mahalo!

Our family had a great stay at this rental. The location was fantastic, right in the middle of downtown and walkable to many stores and restaurants. It is right along the oceanfront. The rental was clean with many thoughtful touches, including beach gear. We also appreciated all the little tips and tricks that were noted throughout the rental to make our stay easier.

We really enjoyed the warm feeling and creative decor as well as the convenient location. Having our own parking space made all the difference. The apartment was clean and had all the conveniences of home, plus some. All the appliances were modern and in good condition. We also loved being able to just walk out the door and be in the middle of town, minutes from the farmer’s market and coffee, plus not too far from Longs and groceries. Plus when we did not want to walk across the street to the ocean, we had a pool downstairs.

We had such a nice stay. We loved being downtown and close to everything from casual shopping to coffee to oceanfront restaurants. Having our own parking spot was a huge bonus. Coming from another part of the island, I rarely get to just chill in downtown Kona. It was fun. It was super clean and when we wanted to cook we found everything we needed even three ways to make coffee. It’s such a great place with everything we needed.

Overall, I guess the stay was fair. The unit was large enough for the things we needed. It was clean with enough towels and things, but not super well-equipped. Its well located for the tourist area of Kailua but not close enough to the places you need like a grocery store or gym etc. Our greates challange was the noise, with constant street racing, a lood soccer pitch directly behind the unit, lound street music etc. For the price, the unit is fair. The property manager was great and very attentive, with no complaints at all. It was just hard to feel safe, at rest or comfortable there.

Such a great stay! Location was a big plus, since it is conveniently close to downtown and only 15 mins away from the airport. Everything was clean and the condo felt very home-y. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

We had a fantastic stay at this Kona condo rental. The property was clean, well-equipped, and offered views of the pool. It was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location was ideal, with easy access to local shops, restaurants, bars, farmer’s market, and ocean. The condo was well stocked with everything needed to make our stay excellent- beach towels and bags for exploring, beach chairs, boogie boards, soft and hard sided coolers. The dedicated parking spot was wonderful and much of Kona walkable from the condo. We loved listening to the waves from the Lanai and living room. The condo and facilities are well maintained, pool clean and neighbors quiet. It was an exceptional trip.

The hosts have thought of everything! The condo contained all of the amenities to make our 1st trip to Hawaii amazing! There were beach towels, beach bag, insulated lunch boxes, coolers, ice trays, extra fans, beach chairs, boogey boards, kitchen utensils, laundry soap, extra linens, tools for bicycles. Everything we needed was provided! The condo is clean, management company very responsive, pool and facilities kept up, the complex is quiet with a dedicated parking spot. The location is steps from the ocean, a block from many eateries and bars, the farmer's market is a block away as well. It is a great central location. We will be back!
