AWESOME location and oceanfront views are spectacular. Owners have this townhome set up beautifully for vacationers with many extras.

We fully enjoyed our stay here. The condo was a perfect size, clean, and well-stocked in the kitchen and with beach stuff. It was a great place to launch daily adventures. The shopping center across the street was very helpful - grocery and multiple restaurants.

I can still hear the waves and picture the sunset from the patio. The unit had everything we needed- beach gear and cooking equipment- the air conditioning worked quickly and then we could shut it off and enjoy the breezes from the ocean. The check in and out processes were simple. The location was perfect- a short drive to Kona and simple to get to Volcano Ntl Park- the beach tide pools were amazing too. Would definitely return.

Overall a great experience. The Keauhou Kona Surf is an incredible place at a very good location about 10 minutes south of the heart of Kona. The location provides a good balance of proximity to restaurants and grocery stores but still being far enough away from the busy areas where you get the calm Hawaii ambiance away from the touristy crowded areas. The beautiful grounds are well manicured, parking is convenient (although the parking stalls are very tight), and the tennis courts and a ping pong table provide extra amenities not available at most resorts/condos on the BI. The unit is very nicely furnished, has excellent air conditioning, comfortable living room and bedrooms, and a very practical kitchen with an ocean view. However, there is no dining table in the inside space. Although the table setup on the lanai is nice, we don't always want to eat outdoors. The upstairs floorplan is also a bit unusual. We recognize the space is a bit constrained by the size of the building, but not having a true master bathroom connected to the master bedroom is also not ideal when you're on vacation. The 2-story layout provides great views from the master bedroom, but makes the floorplan of the overall unit a bit inconvenient. Although the unit was cleaned well, the owners should offer at least 1 or 2 mid-stay cleanings for longer stays.

Absolutely gorgeous, well appointed condo with excellent amenities and location. It was perfect for our family of 4 (parents & 2 teenagers). The "kids' room" was a comfortable size and having 2 full bathrooms was perfect. It is clear that the owners thought of everything from the hose and mat to rinse feet on the lanai to the spice/cooking cupboard, to the pots/pans, to the beach chairs and coolers. Fantastic breezes, comfortable furniture, great WiFi, easy to cook in kitchen, and generally quiet location/complex.
Master bed was comfortable; bedroom furniture was all solidly constructed (nothing from Target or Ikea). Sheets were good quality.
Everything was so clean -- exactly as pictured.
Our only issues really had nothing to do with the care and attention the owners have put into their gorgeous condo -- the TV remote was buggy and we had some issues with the dishwasher (totally a Knudson issue).
We will be back for sure!!

We have stayed at the Keauhou Kona Surf and Racket Club in the past. We love the location, the grounds and the amenities. This townhouse exceeded our expectations. Was a short walk down a path from the lanai to get to the beach. While it’s not a swimming beach, the tide pools are fun to look in and the sunsets were amazing. The townhouse is fully equipped with everything you would need. It does have air conditioning but we did not need to use it. The view from the master bedroom couldn’t be any better. The beds were comfortable. I did have to reach out to Knutson and Associates regarding an item that was left on the front porch by the housekeeper, they responded quickly and the item was picked up immediately. The entire experience was incredible and I hope to be back again sooner rather than later.

We had an absolute fabulous time. Cannot describe how much we enjoyed our stay at the condo. It surpassed our expectations!! Cannot describe the feeling of listening to the ocean 24 hours a day!!! The ocean was right in our back yard and we enjoyed a sunset every evening from our lanai. We will definitely be back. Whole complex was well maintained, beautiful, pool clean, and loved all the Christmas decorations as well!! There was nothing we needed as supplies for beach to self care were provided. Thanks again for a wonderful vacation! The ocean views again were MAGNIFICENT!

The property was in stellar condition as advertised and was full of very well thought out conveniences & amenities. We felt very much at home & safe without a flaw in the process or property. This condo is light and airy and right on the ocean. The only trouble was with the freezer. When making ice it dropped the 6 cubes all together instead of individually and all the ice seemed to be melted a bit like the freezer door seal wasn't shutting properly.

This place was awesome and love location. Was little upset when the couch was chained and locked so you could not pull out sofa bed. We had someone come down with covid and needed to isolate them. So we needed another place for someone to sleep. I found that really also had no extra blankets or pillows. The place looks a lot bigger then it is but has a cool beach with turtles every morning. We rented another place in the same resort that had chairs, umbrella, ice chest, and much more. It was missing all of that. They have a wagon and a few beach towels.

The condo was better appointed than most we have stayed in. The beach could not have been enjoyed w/o the umbrella and chairs (due to a medical condition); the fact that these items and a cooler were provided was one of the best aspects of the condo for us.

The kitchen is extremely well stocked (lots of spices, pots, dishes, appliances, kitchen tools including those needed for the outside BBQ's), we like to cook and this unit really felt like home. I was a bit concerned about the dining room being outside, but that concern evaporated on the first day.

Sitting outside was wonderful, the lanai is enclosed on three sides, never got too hot, and the resident geckos were so entertaining (the same four hung out with us the whole week and we began to realize they each have their own distinct personality).

The unit was extremely clean, and the air conditioner worked great, we were very comfortable. The unit is obviously well cared for and very thoughtfully appointed.

The property manager was one of the most helpful I've ever worked with and although I think (hope!) we were low maintenance, a couple of minor issues were attended to right away. Having a washing machine was great, and allowed us to not have to check luggage.

The complex is quiet with a nice beach next door (partial sand partial volcanic rock, not swimmable). The pool is wonderful, and well maintained and clean.

Very close to Kona, and we really enjoyed our two day trips to Hilo (waterfalls) / Mauna Kea on the Saddle, and Volcano National Park.

I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. We had an absolutely delightful vacation.

The condo was absolutely perfect for our vacation stay! Everything was clean, updated and very cute. The property management company was great, very helpful and responsive! This place is truly a hidden gem, the view alone is worth a million bucks, I felt like we stumbled upon a gem of a hidden secret at a great price! Sitting and watching the tide and waves was very peaceful and really made our time at the condo special. I would highly recommend Knutson property management and this condo - they really made our time on the big island special!!

Please someone tell me who makes that bed!. I especially appreciated how it clean it was. Usually i have to spend several hours upon arrival cleaning a condo so i can tolerate it ex. usually floors make your bare feet black but here the floors were sparkling clean, thank you! the location is perfect, quiet, well maintained, the little rocky beach is a great place to check out tide pools but do not swim here. Signs posted dangerous currents. I agree with another review, the ocean is so loud you have to sleep with the windows closed in the main bedroom.I appreciated the little touches like, all the labels telling you how to operate lights, fans ac, having ac, the half curtains to put up at night for privacy etc. the pool here is fabulous, no hot tub. If you play tennis, nice courts. If you want to party and be in the center of the action this is not right for you. If you want quiet, calm retreat atmosphere in an out of the tourist hub location, then this is perfect. It was just perfect for me and i hope to stay here again. BTW, very nice job on the remodel. Bedroom furniture is lovely, again where can i buy that? Mahalo and Aloha

This townhome has everything you may need for a great beach vacation. It has a fully stocked kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is perfect for a family stay. The patio overlooks the waves and amazing sunsets. It’s located 2 minutes away from a large shopping center with a grocery and a drug store and restaurants. The property has a pool and tennis courts, as well as grills throughout the property for residents’ use. Property management company was amazing throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend.

We were frequent users of the resort's pool which was never crowded. The resort also had many barbecue stations available throughout the property.

We had an amazing Thanksgiving '21 week stay in this unit right on the beach in Keauhou. The unit is as described in the listing and we had no issues with anything in the unit. The management company was very responsive and all details on check in and access were provided on time. The unit is so close to the beach that you likely will have to close the windows in the main bedroom to get to sleep (we found that out the first night!). We went snorkeling straight out from the beach in front of the unit and the beach has few visitors other than those staying in the units. You can walk to Kahalu'u beach park which has a larger reef protected snorkeling area and also a decent break for surfing (a board rental place is adjacent to that break). The Hele Bus Trolley stop is also at Kahalu'u Beach so you can get away without a rental car (we only got one for 3 days of our time there) and still get to downtown Kailua-Kona and other stops along the way. The Keauhou Shopping Center is a short walk up a slight hill from the units and we enjoyed Tropics Tap House for good local brews and food. We used the pool, tennis courts, and ping pong table as much as we wanted. There were no onerous covid restrictions that restricted us from doing those activities. I highly recommend this gem in Keauhou for a family of four!

We had a great time. We overlooked the fact that the unit did not have Air conditioning which led to some discomfort from some of the attending guests. There was also snorkeling gear and beach gear that we discovered in back that we did not know about. We also added 3 brand new sets of Snorkeling gear to the collection as we could not bring it home with us. Overall our stay was nice. The pool was well maintained. Wish there were more grills available to use, but we managed. Thanks for the great Memories.

Perfect condo. The location is great, listening to waves all night was wonderful. Condo was well equips, we enjoyed using the boogie boards, beach chairs, ice chest, and snorkeling equipment. Saved us the cost and time to rent these items. I had my daughter and 18 month old grandson. The pool is kid friendly and the grounds are well maintained are well maintained. A safe and quiet place. Grocery store and some restaurants, snorkeling beach all within walking distance.

We really enjoyed our stay at the townhouse #4!! It has an awesome view of the ocean amd just a quick few steps from the beach which we used every day and night! The townhouse suited my family well! Everyone was very happy with their stay!! Thanks for a great location and townhouse!!!

This townhome was in a great spot right on the main road through Kona, so it was easy to get to all of the popular beaches, shops and restaurants. They mean it when they say it's just steps from the beach! We had an amazing view from the patio and although it rained the whole time we were there, we couldn't have asked for a better spot.

The fixtures/decor didn't strike us as "remodeled" necessarily, but we didn't see what the neighboring units looked like. Everything was very neatly kept and super-clean, and service was excellent. The management team was very communicative and housekeeping was great, too. They use a "hospitality" app to keep you updated with check-in instructions, gate/door codes and other helpful info along the way. Everything was simple and easy.

One minor piece of advice: bring walking shoes! We grabbed some "water shoes" at Long's in the shopping center up the hill because even our closed-toed shoes were letting in lots of small rocks. It's a rocky beach but beautiful to walk along if you get to.

Great location, great view, quiet and relaxing. Had everything we needed. There were a lot of sugar ants so need to be sure no food is left out. We didn't see any smoke detectors but we may have just overlooked them.

Staying a little south of town is perfect away from the hustle of Kona and close to the country very peaceful setting love the ocean right out the door. Blake the property manage was very very helpful with an issue we had on arrival no problems with the property very clean and tidy we would stay here again no question

This rental was just as described and better. Blake took such good care of us including calling to let us know we could go in a little early. The rooms were clean and comfortable and there was plenty of room to walk and not be on top of each other. There was coolers to use which we did, and snorkel gear, beach chairs and beach towels. The beach was beautiful and we saw turtles, fish, and sea urchins every day and even a sea cucumber. The kitchen had everything you need to cook or fix anything you want, we made margaritas and having an ice maker was a bonus. My one suggestion is always close the screens because the little black flying bugs can be annoying. After figures that out there was no problems. Having 2 full bathrooms was was great and a full size washer and dryer was very convenient and it was nice not to have to pack up dirty clothes. The location of the condo was great and made it possible to just go on little adventures which we love. The proximity to 2 step beach is amazing and the snorkeling there was so beautiful. We very much look forward to staying in this beautiful condo again and hopefully soon.

My family of four had a great time at this townhouse during the Ironman World Championships. We had all the amenities we need for our stay. And if there was anything else we needed the store was up the street. I loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves crashing on the king size bed. It was wonderful. We will definitely be back

Everything was wonderful. View was amazing and the town house was very clean. I would definitely stay again but really wish there was air conditioning. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Very very nice!

My family and I stayed in this condo this past April and loved everything about it! The beach is steps away from the condo's lanai and it felt like our own private beach. We saw sea turtles in the tide pools as well as corals and a lot of colorful fish. We took advantage of the Surf and Racket Club's pool on multiple occasions - the grounds are beautifully maintained and the pool was clean and warm. We found the condo itself to be in great shape and appreciated the well stocked kitchen as well as the beach and snorkel gear provided. We are thankful to our friend who recommended the Surf and Racket Club to us and will definitely stay in this condo again. The owner and Knutson & Associates representatives were very helpful and responsive to our questions. The condo is close to a shopping center as well as Kahaluu Beach Park. Excellent location and experience all around!

We had such a great vacation! This unit is so close to the ocean you have to close the windows or the sea spray comes in. The view from the master bedroom is like a postcard. We are already picking dates for next year.

Although we only stayed 3 nights at this condo it was the best part of our vacation so far. We are in this area for 6 weeks and absolutely love it. Knutson's is a fabulous agency to work with. Blake has been so accommodating and efficient in his assistance.
